At Cronulla, Creation Home Cinemas was commissioned to design and install a bespoke home theatre solution tailored specifically for an over-55’s community environment. Our work began with a careful layout design to optimise both accessibility and acoustic performance.

The installation included made-to-measure acoustic panels, 4K 3D Ultra HD High Brightness Laser Home Theatre Projector, premium Sonance in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for rich, room-filling sound, and a powerful Denon AV receiver and amplifier for high-fidelity performance. The system was programmed using a fully integrated Elan Control System, providing intuitive, one-touch operation of audio, video, lighting, and environmental settings.

To ensure the home theatre was inclusive for all residents, a state-of-the-art hearing loop was installed, supporting augmented hearing for those with hearing impairments. This bespoke home theatre solution delivers an outstanding, accessible, and easy-to-use entertainment experience, combining premium technology with thoughtful design.

Being located in a newly constructed multi-storey building, the Theatre Room had to comply with the relevant fire regulations.  As such, if the building’s Fire Alarm was activated, our Theatre Room Control System was programmed to immediately pause the video, mute the sound and switch on the lights.
